Melville Agency is hiring a Solutions Architect. Design and implement scalable automation solutions across diverse industries, leveraging RPA, AI, and integration platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design of end-to-end automation solutions for clients, covering RPA, workflow, and integration needs.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their current state, challenges, and desired future state.
- Develop comprehensive solution design documents (SDDs), architectural diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation technologies and platforms based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural adherence during implementation.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for various automation technologies.
Design Scalable Automation Solutions Across Industries

Unlike the AI/ML specific role, this position focuses on architecting end-to-end automation strategies that may involve a blend of RPA, custom integrations, workflow orchestration, and other automation tools. You will be responsible for translating complex business problems into clear, technical blueprints, ensuring that our solutions are not only effective but also scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term client objectives.
You will play a critical role in the pre-sales and discovery phases, working closely with our sales and consulting teams to understand client needs and propose optimal automation architectures. Your ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential. This role requires a strong background in enterprise architecture, a deep understanding of various automation platforms, and the ability to design solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing IT landscapes. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can envision the future state of client operations and design the automation pathways to get there.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on automation.
- Broad knowledge of automation technologies, including RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere), BPM, and integration platforms (APIs, iPaaS).
- Proven experience in designing scalable and secure enterprise-level solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT landscapes.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Superior communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging C-suite executives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's preferred.
